Change field value

The purpose of the rule is to change the field value when other fields are changed by the user.

This rule runs only when the user directly changes a field that is referenced in the rule’s preconditions.

Important behavior:

• At least one field precondition must be defined.

• The rule triggers only when a user modifies one of those fields manually.

• Changes made automatically by other rules do not trigger this rule.

Additional settings

• Override not empty value

If Override not empty value is enabled, the rule will update the target field even if it already has a value.

If disabled, the rule will only run when the target field is empty.
